Doris did another Far East tour at the end of 1977, taking in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
This is the first of two rolls from Hong Kong, which in 1976 was still a British Crown Colony.
In 1977 my dad (and I sometimes) worked in Harlow, but lived in South East London. I do not think the M11 was built then, so he had to travel through Epping Forest and Inner East London to get to the Blackwall Tunnel. Occasionally cattle allowed to roam in Epping would get over the grids and one day my dad was surprised by a herd quite happily trotting down Stratford High Street (which is definitely Inner London). I guess the same would happen in HK.
