Hello – Welcome to WDEOD, a site full of Doris’ photographs!
Its purpose is to share the shots she took in her 50+ years of travel. I’m trying to do a post a film – so one tour may have many posts.

Tississat Falls (Tis Abay – The Great Smoke locally) is where the Blue Nile drops 200 foot and then starts its 1000 mile journey before meeting the White Nile. Both are brown by the way.
It probably only looks like this now in the rainy season as a hydroelectric power plant was built thirty years after these photos which regulates the flow.
